Katie is excited to be a new member of the Gleneagles’ team. Katie has worked as a certified registered nurse practitioner for the last 4 years in Madison, AL.  She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2015.  She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from UAH in 2017.   Katie worked as a registered nurse at the Pediatric Emergency Room at Huntsville Hospital.  She completed her clinical training at several primary care clinics in the Huntsville and Decatur area.

 

Katie’s focus as a nurse practitioner is improving the health of her patients through education, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.  She values building a relationship with patients and helping them take an active role in their health.

 

Katie grew up in Columbia, SC and moved to Huntsville, AL in 2009. In her free time Katie enjoys hiking around the Tennessee Valley with her husband and their daughter.  She also enjoys traveling, exercising, reading and attending concerts.
